The examination also included a comprehensive neurological evaluation. The president reportedly showed no signs of depression or anxiety and achieved a perfect score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a widely used screening tool for detecting early cognitive decline.

According to the physician, Trump sustained a scar on his right ear as a result of a gunshot wound during the assassination attempt in July of the previous year. Aside from this scar, his head, ears, nose, and throat have no abnormalities. Trump’s hearing was also found to be normal.

The medical report detailed several ongoing conditions, including well-managed high cholesterol, rosacea, and a past Covid-19 infection. A benign colon polyp was also noted. Trump’s current medication regimen includes cholesterol-lowering drugs, low-dose aspirin for heart health, and a topical treatment for a skin condition.

The physician concluded that the president remains in top shape, with no abnormalities detected in his heart, and is capable of fulfilling the responsibilities of his role.

The health report sparked a wave of reactions online, with fans weighing in with skepticism and personal comparisons. One person raised concerns about the math not adding up, “Somethings wrong – his height over estimated or his weight underestimated. He looks like a BMI of 32 or above, the measurements make him 28. Publish the truth or don’t bother. [sic]”

Someone tried to make sense of the results, noting“How can he be 6’3″ and 224? He weighs more than 224.” Another commenter agreed“Absolutely no way 😂 I’m 5’11 and at my heaviest I was 225 still nowhere near Trump’s size.”

Among the mix of comments, one person gave credit where it’s due, “Impressive results. Say what you will, but energy and mental acuity at that level is not easy to maintain. Staying sharp under pressure is a real skill.”

In an interview, Dr. Daniel Atkinson from Treated.com noted that individuals nearing 80 could face challenges like fluctuating weight and an increased risk of conditions such as diabetes.

He explained that managing blood sugar becomes more difficult with age and that insulin resistance is more likely to develop, especially under a demanding schedule like that of a president. With such comments, the public had urged Trump to undergo a physical examination during his campaign and in recent weeks.

Trump is receiving significant praise as his current results reflect notable improvement compared to previous examinations. During his earlier physicals, he weighed 244 pounds, placing him in the obese category with a Body Mass Index of 30.5. His latest figures show a drop in weight, bringing his BMI into the overweight, not obese, range.

Back in 2018, his total cholesterol measured 223, but over time, with the help of medications like rosuvastatin, that number steadily dropped, first to 196 in early 2019 and then to 167 in 2020, which falls well below the recommended threshold of 200.

Other indicators of his health have also seen progress. His blood pressure of 121 over 79 in 2020 fell into the elevated category but was still manageable. Additionally, his resting heart rate has remained consistently low at 62 beats per minute, a sign of good cardiovascular fitness.

These improvements have been attributed to medication and lifestyle changes, contributing to the positive tone surrounding his most recent exam.
